Developed by Baracuta in the 1930s, the G9 Blouson jacket was originally designed for golf - the “G” in G9. The short waterproof zipper jacket allowed for great freedom of movement to golf without restriction. As years progressed, this golfing jacket shifted into a casual stylish jacket favoured on and off-screen by the likes of James Dean in “Rebel Without A Cause” and Steve McQueen in “The Thomas Crown Affair”.
Seen in recent years on the likes of Jason Statham and Daniel Craig, this jacket has many imitators but the quintessential Fraser tartan lining and cotton/polyester Coolmax® fabric makes the original stand out.
Available in a variety of colours, this versatile jacket looks at home whether it’s paired with a t-shirt and denim jeans or a piece of knitwear and chinos.
